Stacks of Stinkers

I did tons of laundry and freshening up yesterday -
14 loads of laundry to be exact!
Hubby has the flu and I'm trying desperately to prevent
a mass epidemic!

While I was folding and fluffing
I realized just how many Stinkers I've made just for us:

These stacks are my more recent ones.

There's several on every bed,
at least one on each couch,
a few folded on the porch swing and
oh yeah, don't forget the Guest House
and there are probably 8 or 9 in the motorhome!

As I was cleaning up the guest room and remaking
the bed I realized that these stinkers
are particularly older:

And so are the linens:

I made the star stinker (there are two layered)
for the twins when they moved to their big boy beds -
20 or so years ago!

The Gingham pillow cases are from their boyhood room too.
But the Bahhh flannel sheets are from
MY room as a young girl!

And the groovy stinker folded across the bottom of
the bed, I made that one when I was 13 years old...
C.1975

I have several stinkers in progress right now.
Wonder how many I'll add to
the beds, couches, swings and STACKS
in 2013???

I love these Gena! I recently turned 40 and got a sewing machine for my birthday and I am SO excited to learn how to use it. But another on my "list" this year is to crochet again and I really would love to learn to knit! I hope crocheting is like riding a bike, because I think I was 12 or 13 the last time I did it!! :)
